Our staff is available as soon as you telephone. They are trained to answer questions and hopefully lessen any anxiety concerning your surgery.

Surgery is scheduled by appointment only. It is preferred that the patient telephone herself to schedule an appointment. We know your time is valuable, however we ask that you give us a few minutes to obtain necessary information, schedule your appointment, and provide you with important instructions for the day of your surgery. Fees are quoted according to the duration of the pregnancy and medical considerations. Our fee schedule is based on the length of pregnancy (gestational or menstrual age). All fees are payable at the time of surgery. Please inquire about acceptable methods of payment and our office policy regarding insurance plan coverage. Our facilities do not accept personal checks. If using a credit card, the card holder must be present with proper identification.

We will ask questions regarding your general health. It is important that we know if you are currently taking any medications either prescription or over the counter. Commonly asked questions are do you have asthma or any heart problems? Are you taking any type of anti-depressants? Instructions given are nothing to eat or drink past midnight the night before your appointment, dress comfortably and expect to be in our facility approximately 3 hours. As a courtesy we ask that you do not bring children to our facility. You must provide us with government issued picture identification. If you do not have government identification you must sign an affidavit that you are over the age of 18.

Minors must have parental consent.
In addition new Texas law dictates that we provide you with certain information at least 24 hours before you obtain an abortion.

You can fulfill this requirement by listening to a telephone recording provided by our physician.
